Youth Red Cross National Youth Day 2025 at Navodaya Institute of Technology Raichur | Swaccha Nagarakagi Otha

The Youth Red Cross Unit of Navodaya Institute of Technology (NIT), Raichur, successfully organized a meaningful awareness activity titled “Swaccha Nagarakagi Otha by the Youth” on the occasion of National Youth Day, held on 12th January 2025 at the NIT Campus, Raichur.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Dinesh Kumar K G and witnessed active participation from a total of 180 individuals, including 145 students and 35 staff members. The event was sponsored by NET’s Navodaya Institute of Technology, Raichur.

The session was guided by Dr. M. V. Mallikarjuna, Principal of Navodaya Institute of Technology, Raichur, who emphasized the importance of youth involvement in community development and social responsibility.

The primary objectives of the activity included creating awareness among youth about personal and public health, encouraging civic responsibility with a humanitarian approach, and promoting environmental cleanliness along with plantation initiatives to enhance greenery.

The activity successfully created awareness about the Youth Red Cross Unit and its various initiatives. Participants actively engaged in discussions and cleanliness drives, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a healthy and clean environment.

Overall, the program proved to be impactful in instilling a sense of responsibility among youth towards society and the environment.
