The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) conducted an informative Webinar on Quantum Computing on 26 September 2025. The session aimed to introduce students and faculty to the fundamentals and emerging trends in quantum technologies.

The webinar was presented by Dr. R. Sundar Guru, Professor at Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He covered essential topics such as Quantum Gates, Qubits, Quantum Notations, and the practical applications of quantum computing, giving participants a strong conceptual foundation.

The event was coordinated by Dr. E. Channaveeramma and Prof. Dhanlakshmi C. H., ensuring a smooth and impactful learning experience. The session was organized under the guidance of Dr. K. Venkatachalam, Head of the Department, ECE, whose leadership continues to encourage innovation and academic excellence.

The department expresses sincere gratitude to Shri Suresh Babu Reddy, Director, and Dr. M. V. Mallikarjuna, Principal, for their continuous support. Their commitment to quality education motivates students and faculty to explore advanced fields such as quantum computing.

More than 134 students and faculty members from various institutions actively participated in the webinar, making it a successful and engaging event.
