A visit was made to the manufacturing facility of Renault Nissan Automotive Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, where an interaction was held with Mr. Paulraj, Head – HR. During the discussion, the strengths, location, and student profile of our college were presented. The company expressed its willingness to offer opportunities for student internships, industrial visits, and placement-related activities. Mr. Paulraj also accepted an invitation to visit our campus for an interaction session with students. The team appreciated our institution’s proactive initiatives in building strong industry–academia partnerships.
At the Chennai office of Isuzu Motors Pvt. Ltd., discussions were held with Mr. Kennedy, Deputy General Manager. The plant, located in Andhra Pradesh, has agreed to facilitate internships, industrial visits, Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions, and placements for our students. Mr. Kennedy also expressed interest in visiting the campus for an interaction session. The company commended our efforts in promoting practical exposure through internships and projects.
An interaction was conducted with Mr. R. Saravanan, Head – IR, and Mr. Venkatesh, Senior Manager, at NCR Corporation’s Chennai plant. The company conveyed its readiness to offer placement opportunities for final-year students from Mechanical, EEE, and ECE branches. Emphasis was placed on skill development and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs. NCR assured continued collaboration through training and placement activities and expressed interest in establishing a long-term association with our institution.

He agreed to visit our campus in November 2025, which will strengthen industry–institute collaboration. The visit is expected to provide students with valuable insights into research and development practices, enriching their technical knowledge and industrial exposure.
Discussions with Mr. Elang Kannan, General Manager – Operations, at Rane Engine Valves Ltd. focused on exploring various avenues for collaboration. The interaction covered student internships, industrial visits, and potential campus placements. Additionally, opportunities for industry consultancy support were also considered for future engagement.
During the meeting with Mr. Selvakumar, Corporate Assistant General Manager, at Bonfiglioli Transmissions Pvt. Ltd., emphasis was placed on industry connect initiatives. The company expressed interest in providing internship opportunities and facilitating industrial visits to enhance practical learning. Potential placement avenues were also explored to strengthen ties between the company and our institution.
A visit to Ather Energy Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, an electric vehicle manufacturing company, led to an interaction with Mr. Pradeep, Deputy General Manager. The company agreed to extend support for internships, industrial visits, and campus placements. This collaboration will particularly benefit students from Mechanical, EEE, and ECE branches by offering exposure to the EV sector. The meeting further reinforced the partnership between Ather Energy and our institution.
At the office of Quest Global, Bangalore, discussions were held with Ms. Upasana Sharma (Sr. Manager – Talent Acquisition), along with Mr. Saravanan and Mr. Satheesh. The team consented to visit our campus for recruitment drives targeting students from Civil, Mechanical, EEE, and ECE branches. This collaboration aims to provide valuable placement prospects and enhance industry–institute engagement for the benefit of our students.
Engagements with Ms. Upasana Sharma (Sr. Manager – Talent Acquisition) and her team at Symphony AI Software & IT Solutions, Bangalore, resulted in a positive outcome. The company agreed to participate in campus recruitment and interact with students from Civil, Mechanical, EEE, and ECE branches. This partnership will open placement opportunities and reinforce the institution’s focus on building strong industry collaborations.
A meeting with Mr. S. Murugesan, Chief Consultancy Engineer, at GE Vernova, Bangalore, led to an invitation for him to conduct a motivational session on campus. He graciously accepted the invitation, and his upcoming session will provide students with valuable professional insights and inspiration drawn from real-world industry experience.
The visit to TPRS Glass Plant, Dharwad, included an interaction with Mr. Nagaraj Kamath (Head – Administration) and Mr. Bharaneetharan (HR – Admin). The technical team guided a comprehensive plant tour, explaining the operational processes in detail. Following the visit, an MoU was signed to formalize collaboration between the company and our institution. This partnership will create avenues for internships, industrial visits, placements, and other academic–industry initiatives.
We visited the TPRS Glass Plant at Dharwad and met Mr. Nagaraj Kamath, Head – Administration, and Mr. Bharaneetharan, HR-Admin. During the visit, we interacted with them and toured the plant under the guidance of the Technical – Head, who clearly explained all the processes followed at the facility. The visit provided valuable insights into industrial operations and best practices. Following the interaction, we signed an MoU to formalize collaboration between the industry and our institution, which will open avenues for internships, industrial visits, Placements and other academic–industry initiatives for our students.
We interacted with Mr. Srikantha, Regional Business Manager, TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), Karnataka, to explore potential opportunities through TCS iON. During the discussion, he shared valuable insights into the various academic collaboration initiatives, skill development programs, and career opportunities offered by TCS iON. The interaction aimed to strengthen industry–academia linkage and pave the way for future partnerships that will benefit our students through enhanced learning, training, and placement avenues.
