Cisco Networking Academy @ Navodaya Institute of Technology Future-Ready Skills. Real-World Impact.
At Navodaya Institute of Technology, we’re committed to empowering our students with the skills they need to thrive in a fast-changing digital world. As part of this mission, we have partnered with Cisco Systems, Inc. to establish the Cisco Networking Academy on our campus a globally recognized platform for next-generation IT and networking education.
Since its establishment, the academy has become a vibrant hub of hands-on learning, industry-aligned certification, and career-ready training. Students are guided through structured programs that blend theory with practical applications with the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) program being one of the flagship offerings.
To address the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals, our academy also offers the Cisco Cyberops course a powerful program designed to train students in the principles of cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, and security monitoring. This program prepares learners for careers in Security Operations Centres (SOCs) a critical frontline in digital defences.

Through the Cisco Networking Academy, students at Navodaya Institute of Technology don’t just learn – they build, innovate, and lead. Whether it’s managing complex networks, defending digital infrastructure, or building the next big idea, our students are equipped to make a real-world impact from day one.
Empowering Innovation. Enabling Impact.
In alignment with the national vision to embed a culture of innovation within the academic ecosystem, the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, has instituted the MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC). This flagship initiative is designed to systematically cultivate creativity and entrepreneurial thinking among students by encouraging them to transform bold ideas into working prototypes during their academic journey.
To drive this mission at the grassroots level, MIC has established Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) across select Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). These councils act as catalytic platforms to spark, support, and sustain innovation through structured activities and strategic guidance. The goal: to nurture an innovation-first mindset and build a thriving ecosystem within campuses that champions problem-solving, product development, and startup culture.
Strategic Objectives of IICs:
This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and shaping the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
